ORGANIC WILLIAMS PEAR

The organic Williams pear is the quintessential pear in Italy. Piedmont and Veneto are ranked among the main national production regions. The Williams pear has a very light and fine pulp, which is juicy, sweet and tasty, and it has a characteristic muscat aroma. It reaches peak ripeness in late summer. Pears are low in calories (30-35 Kcal per 100 g), rich in insoluble fibre and contain a considerable quantity of potassium. Highly digestible, the pear carries out an anti-oxidant, diuretic and refreshing action and is particularly recommended for a healthy, low salt diet.
